Balongay By: Nicole Villaflor

There are a lot of places in this whole wide world that I can choose to stay at. Many beautiful views that I have the chance to watch.
Different spots that are breath taking. Yes there are so many significant places outdoor, but I still choose to be on this special place.
Balongay, Calabanga, Camarines Sur is the place where we are residing right now. I must say that it is a small barangay, but does it matter? Of coures no. It doesn't matter to me if it is just small barangay, I don't care about the people's status in life. What matters to me, is the thing that makes it special. It is special to me, Because this is the place where my parents raised me.
Even though, we have a small population, we are still big through unity. Whenever there are disasters coming, we are helping each other just to make everyone stay safe. Sharing is also one of the reasons why it is special. I could remember the sharing of foods to our neighbors  whenever someone is celebrating their birthday in every family.
The foods are really good.
We have sea foods that we can catch in our wide sea. Crabs, shrimps, lobsters, and fishes. I can't forget the people's hospitality. It was really a good place to stay in.
